Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours each shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction

Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties and coach and verify daily
- Certified food handler and effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and restaurant support office
- Act as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
- Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Follow and execute shift responsibilities including administrative tasks, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory and ordering
- Support the onboarding and training process including scheduling
- Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handle guest relations and coach team on improving guest experience
- Escalate employee relations concerns promptly to general management
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
