Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable leading a team and taking initiative
- Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties
- Certified/trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach/verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicates through live conversations, email, etc to team members, management, and RSO
- Acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
- Exhibits desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards and is a role model for dress, behavior, and interaction with guests and team members
- Effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Effectively follows/executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist including admin, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory/ordering
- Effectively supports the onboarding/training process to include scheduling
- Effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Effectively handles guest relations and can coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
- Promptly escalates any employee relations concerns to the general manager
- Attends all store manager meetings
- Effectively executes other tasks/duties as assigned
