Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs
- Hearing accuracy with correction
- Vision accuracy at 20/20 with correction
- Positive attitude

Job Duties
- Certified/trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties & coach/verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicates (through live conversations, email, etc) to team members, management, & RSO
- Acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
- Exhibits desired Pei Wei behaviors & standards & is a role model for dress, behavior, & interaction with guests & team members
- Effectively leads the team during the shift, through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Effectively follows/executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist - to include admin, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory/ordering, etc
- Effectively supports the onboarding/training process to include scheduling
- Effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Effectively handles guest relations & can coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
- Promptly escalates any employee relations concerns to the general manager
- Attends all store manager meetings
- Effectively executes other tasks/duties as assigned
