Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Certified food handler preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for periods of four to ten hours each shift
  • Ability to reach bend balance and transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
  • Must be able to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
  • Must be able to see at 20 20 vision with correction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable taking a lead role in the absence of management
  • Ability to handle guest relations and employee concerns promptly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Certified food handler preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and health procedures
  • Experience with cash handling and administrative duties

Job Duties

  • Certified trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach verify on a daily basis
  • Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
  • Effectively communicates through live conversations email etc to team members management and RSO
  • Acts as a role model in behaviors dress and guest interaction exhibits desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards and is a role model for dress behavior and interaction with guests and team members
  • Effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching delegation and verification
  • Effectively follows executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist including admin reporting scheduling SMG scores cash handling opening closing duties inventory ordering etc
  • Effectively supports the onboarding training process including scheduling
  • Effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
  • Effectively handles guest relations and can coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
  • Promptly escalates any employee relations concerns to the general manager
  • Attends all store manager meetings
  • Effectively executes other tasks duties as assigned
