Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler
- Ability to work all restaurant aspects from guest service to kitchen execution
- Capacity to understand and use back-office systems
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle guest relations and employee concerns
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach and verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicates with team members, management, and RSO through live conversations, email, etc
- Acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction, exhibiting desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards
- Effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Effectively follows and executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist including admin, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory and ordering
- Supports the onboarding and training process including scheduling
