Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler
- Ability to work standing and walking for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Visual acuity with 20/20 vision with correction
- Hearing ability with 100% accuracy with correction
- Action oriented and energized by challenges
- Committed to brand and team
- Customer focused and handles difficult customer situations effectively
- Self-motivated and receptive to feedback
- Effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties and coach/verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members, management, and regional support office
- Act as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
- Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Follow and execute shift responsibilities including admin, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing duties, and inventory/ordering
- Support onboarding and training process including scheduling
- Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handle guest relations and coach team to improve guest experience
- Escalate employee relations concerns promptly to the general manager
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
