Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Commitment to brand and team

- Strong customer focus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Job Qualifications

- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and safety standards
- Proficient in cash handling and administrative duties
Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties and coach team daily
- Certified food handler and teach company safety and health procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional support office
- Act as a role model in behavior, dress, and guest interaction
- Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Follow and execute shift responsibilities including admin, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory, and ordering
- Support onboarding and training processes including scheduling
- Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handle guest relations and coach team to improve guest experience
- Escalate employee relations concerns to general manager promptly
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
