Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, balance and transport objects up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
  • Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
  • Action oriented mindset
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Self motivated and able to maintain high performance without direct leadership

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Certified in culinary and front-of-house operations
  • Certified food handler
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to train and coach team members
  • Experience in cash handling and administrative duties

Job Duties

  • Perform culinary and front-of-house duties while coaching and verifying team daily
  • Teach and enforce food safety and health procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional support office
  • Act as a role model in behavior, dress, and guest interactions
  • Lead team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
  • Follow shift responsibilities including admin, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening/closing duties, and inventory ordering
  • Support onboarding and training processes and handle guest relations
