Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Certified food handler required
  • Ability to stand and walk for periods of four to ten hours each shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
  • Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
  • Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Comfortable taking on challenges and working at an appropriate pace
  • Commitment to customer service and team support

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Certified/trained in Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations

  • Ability to handle cash and administrative tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Certified/trained in Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and can perform duties and coach/verify on a daily basis
  • Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
  • Effectively communicates (through live convos, email, etc) to Team Members, Management, and RSO
  • Acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
  • Exhibits desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards and is a role model for dress, behavior, and interaction with guests and team members
  • Effectively leads the team during the shift, through coaching, delegation, and verification
  • Effectively follows/executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist - to include admin, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory/ordering, etc
  • Effectively supports the onboarding/training process to include scheduling
  • Effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
  • Effectively handles Guest relations and can coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
  • Promptly escalates any Employee relations concerns to the GM
  • Attends all store manager meetings
  • Effectively executes other tasks/duties as assigned
