- previous prep or line cook experience
- ability to prepare and present menu items with cook time requirements
- knowledge of cooking and knife handling skills
- understanding of English language
- ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food menu items to company specifications
- stock pantry station fully before the shift
- setup, operate, breakdown, and clean all kitchen equipment
- use proper handling of all chemicals used in the building
- consistently use all prep tools and equipment according to safety guidelines
- operate the POS system
- learn restaurant menu and recipes, guide guests on choosing menu items and modify according to guest needs
- use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
- use cleaning chemicals properly
- follow dress code
- perform duties associated with kitchen operations
- work around various temperature levels including warm and extremely warm temperatures
- stock and organize daily or weekly deliveries
- wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant
