Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous prep or line cook experience
  • Ability to prepare and present menu items with cook time requirements
  • Understand how to modify dishes due to guest requests such as allergies or gluten free
  • Reading, writing, and math skills required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food menu items to company specifications
  • Stock pantry station fully before the shift
  • Setup, operate, breakdown, and clean all kitchen equipment
  • Use proper handling of all chemicals used in the building
  • Consistently use all prep tools and equipment according to safety guidelines
  • Operate the POS system
  • Learn restaurant menu and guide guests on choosing menu items and modifying dishes
  • Use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
  • Follow dress code
  • Perform duties associated with kitchen operations
  • Work around various temperature levels in the kitchen
  • Stock and organize daily or weekly deliveries
  • Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils, maintain all restaurant areas
