- previous prep or line cook experience
- ability to prepare and present menu items with cook time requirements
- understand how to modify dishes due to guest requests such as allergies or gluten free

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food menu items to company specifications
- stock pantry station fully before the shift
- setup, operate, breakdown, and clean all kitchen equipment
- knowledge of proper handling of all chemicals used in the building
- consistently use all prep tools and equipment according to safety guidelines
- operate the POS system
- learn the restaurant menu and recipes and guide guests on choosing menu items between spicy and mild dishes, modifying according to guest need
- use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- use cleaning chemicals properly
- follow dress code
- perform duties associated with kitchen operations
- work around various temperature levels including warm to extremely warm temperatures in the kitchen
- stock and organize daily or weekly deliveries
- wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils, and maintain all restaurant areas
