Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- food handler's card where applicable
- problem-solving abilities

- ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours each shift
- ability to lift and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cooking and knife handling skills
- previous prep or line cook experience
- ability to prepare and present menu items with proper cook time
- ability to modify dishes due to guest requests such as allergies or gluten free
- reading, writing, and math skills
- clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- understanding of English language
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food menu items to company specifications
- stock pantry station fully before the shift
- setup, operate, breakdown, and clean all kitchen equipment
- handle all chemicals used in the building properly
- use all prep tools and equipment according to safety guidelines
- operate the POS system
- learn restaurant menu and recipes and guide guests on choosing menu items and modifications
- use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
- clean and maintain kitchen and restaurant areas
- work around various temperature levels in the kitchen
- stock and organize daily or weekly deliveries
- wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, sanitize utensils
