Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
Understanding of English language with clear speaking and attentive listening
Basic math skills and computer proficiency
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

Job Duties

Accommodate guest needs by greeting them timely and professionally
Provide information about menu and "How to Pei Wei"
Fulfill in-person, phone, and online orders for dining in or take away
Set up, maintain, and close front of house area according to SOPs
Process customer orders and payments accurately using POS system
Handle cash and credit card transactions making correct change
Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant
Package take home orders
Maintain cleanliness of front of house area including drink and condiment stations
Tabulate data on bills, totals, and restaurant expenses in POS system
Follow dress code
Work in varying temperature conditions including warm kitchen environments
