Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
Understanding of English language
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
Basic math skills
Computer proficiency

Job Duties

Greet guests promptly and professionally
Provide guests with menu information and "How to Pei Wei" guidance
Take and process dine-in, take-away, phone, and online orders accurately into the POS system
Handle customer payments including cash and credit cards, provide correct change
Package take-home orders efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front of house areas including drink and condiment stations
Perform setup, maintenance, and closing tasks in accordance with Pei Wei's standard operating procedures
Tabulate data related to bills, amounts, and expenses in the POS system
Follow dress code standards and safety protocols
Work effectively in various temperature conditions within the restaurant environment
