Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively in English
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Accommodate guest's needs by greeting them in a timely professional manner and providing information about the menu and "How to Pei Wei"
- Fulfill orders for dining in or take away in person, by phone, or online
- Responsible for overall setup, maintenance, and closing duties for the front of the house according to Pei Wei SOPs
- Process phone orders promptly
- Take and process customer orders into POS system
- Process and total orders on POS system and handle customer payments accurately
- Process credit cards, take cash, and make correct change
- Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant
- Package take home orders for customers
- Tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, and restaurant expenses in POS system
- Maintain and clean front of house area including drink and condiment station
- Follow company dress code
- Work around various temperature levels, including warm to extremely warm conditions in kitchen
