Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years General Manager experience for external candidates
- Minimum 6 months Pei Wei Senior or Assistant Manager experience for internal candidates
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House operations
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- Capability to reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Obtain and maintain a safe food handler’s permit within 6 months
- Strong sales building and conflict management abilities
- Skilled in team building, hiring, and staffing
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and flexibility
- Comfortable with continuous change
- Effective scheduling skills
- Commitment to food safety standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of specified restaurant
- Takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
- Increases sales and operating profit through local marketing and internal opportunities
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House operations and performs duties daily
- Fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- Supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks to management and hourly team members
- Recruits, hires, and trains a full team according to internal training specifications
- Provides ongoing leadership and development to immediate management staff including financial and safety accountabilities
- Acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- Uses performance management tools to ensure employee appraisals with coaching and feedback
- Ensures all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Oversees timely repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
- Handles administrative tasks such as hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling
- Performs regular line checks to maintain product quality
- Manages prep lists, order guides, cost control, and food inventories
- Obtains and maintains a safe food handler’s permit
