Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years general manager experience for external candidates
  • 6 months Pei Wei senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
  • Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House operations
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, balance and transport objects up to 30 lbs
  • Obtain and maintain food handler permit within 6 months
  • Demonstrated competency in sales building

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures operational excellence of designated restaurant
  • Takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction
  • Implements and sustains company initiatives and goals
  • Increases sales and operating profit through marketing and internal opportunities
  • Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House operations and performs duties daily
  • Fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
  • Supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks to management and hourly team members
  • Recruits, hires, and trains team according to internal specifications
  • Provides ongoing leadership and development to management staff
  • Acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
  • Uses performance management tools for appraisals and coaching
  • Ensures compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Oversees regular repairs and maintenance
  • Handles hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash management
  • Performs regular quality line checks
  • Manages prep lists and order guides
  • Takes responsibility for food cost and inventory
  • Maintains current food handler permit
