Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years general manager experience for external candidates
- 6 months senior or assistant manager experience at Pei Wei for internal candidates
- certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations
- ability to perform operational duties daily
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- capability to manage sales, labor costs, and financial aspects
- ability to recruit, hire, and train team members
- proficient in conflict management and building teams
- emotional intelligence and adaptability
- able to schedule effectively
- must obtain and maintain safe food handler permit
- capable of standing and walking for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- able to lift and transport up to 30 lbs during shifts
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
- takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
- increases sales and operating profit
- certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and performs duties daily
- fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately to management and hourly team members
- recruits, hires, and trains a full team
- provides ongoing leadership and development to immediate management staff
- acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- uses performance management tools for employee appraisals
- ensures compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
- oversees restaurant repairs and maintenance
- manages administrative tasks including hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling
- performs regular quality checks
- completes prep lists and order guides
- manages cost and food inventories
- obtains and maintains safe food handlers permit
