Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- two years general manager experience for external candidates
- six months senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
- certified in Pei Wei culinary and front-of-the-house operations
- ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
- capacity to lift and transport objects up to 30 pounds
- must obtain and maintain a safe food handler's permit within six months
- strong leadership and communication skills
- capability to handle hiring, payroll, invoicing, and cash management
- must comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- able to perform conflict management and team building
- willing to adapt to ongoing changes
- skilled in sales building and delivering results

Job Duties
- Ensure operational excellence of the designated restaurant
- take ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction
- implement, cascade, and sustain company initiatives and goals
- increase sales and operating profit through local marketing and internal opportunities
- maintain certification in Pei Wei culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties daily
- foster a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- supervise, assign, and delegate tasks to management and hourly team members
- recruit, hire, and train staff according to internal specifications
- provide ongoing leadership and development to management staff including accountability over P&L statements, food and labor costs, and safety and sanitation
- serve as goodwill ambassador to the community
- use performance management tools for employee appraisals and coaching
- ensure compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- oversee timely repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
- manage administrative tasks such as hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling
- perform regular line checks to maintain product quality
- complete prep lists and order guides
- manage cost and food inventories
- obtain and maintain a safe food handler's permit within prescribed timeframes
