Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years General Manager experience for external candidates
- Six months Pei Wei Senior or Assistant Manager experience for internal candidates
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
- Obtain safe food handler's permit within six months
- Compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong sales, conflict management, team building, hiring, emotional intelligence, change management, scheduling, and food safety competencies
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
- Take ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Implement, cascade, and sustain company initiatives and goals
- Increase sales and operating profit and set short/long term plans through local marketing and internal opportunities
- Perform duties certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations daily
- Foster a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- Supervise, assign, and delegate tasks appropriately to management and hourly team members
- Recruit, hire, and train staff following internal training specifications
- Provide ongoing leadership and development to management staff including P/L accountability, food and labor costs, safety and sanitation
- Act as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- Use performance management tools to ensure employee performance appraisals with coaching and feedback
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- Oversee timely repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
- Handle administrative tasks such as hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling
- Conduct regular line checks to maintain product quality standards
- Ensure prep lists and order guides are complete
- Take responsibility for all cost and food inventories
- Obtain and keep current appropriate safe food handler's permit
