Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years General Manager experience for external candidates
- 6 months Pei Wei Sr or Assistant Manager experience for internal candidates
- ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, balancing, and transporting objects up to 30 lbs
- endurance to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- willingness to obtain and maintain a safe food handlers permit
- strong sales and team management competencies
- commitment to safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
- takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
- increases sales and operating profit through local marketing and internal opportunities
- certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and can perform duties daily
- fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately
- recruits, hires, and trains team members
- provides ongoing leadership and development to management staff including P/L accountability, food and labor costs, safety and sanitation
- acts as goodwill ambassador to the community
- uses performance management tools to conduct employee appraisals and coaching
- ensures compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- manages repairs and maintenance
- handles administrative tasks such as hiring, payroll, invoicing, and cash handling
- performs regular line checks to maintain product quality
- manages prep lists and order guides
- responsible for food cost inventories
- obtains and maintains safe food handlers permit within required time frame
