Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- two years general manager experience for external candidates
- six months Pei Wei senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
- certified in Pei Wei culinary and front-of-the-house operations
- ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, balancing, and transporting objects up to 30 lbs
- able to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
- obtain and maintain a current safe food handlers permit
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage sales growth and staff effectively
- possess emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of designated restaurant
- takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction
- implements and sustains company initiatives and goals
- increases sales and operating profits through local marketing and internal opportunities
- certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and performs daily duties
- fosters a safe and respectful employee experience
- supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately
- recruits, hires, and trains team members
- provides leadership and development to management staff
- acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- uses performance management tools for appraisals
- ensures compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
- manages restaurant repairs and maintenance
- handles administrative tasks including hiring, payroll, and cash handling
- performs regular line checks
- manages prep lists and order guides
- takes responsibility for cost and food inventories
