Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years general manager experience for external candidates
- 6 months Pei Wei senior or assistant manager experience for internal candidates
- Must obtain safe food handler permit within 6 months or sooner as required
- Ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift
- Capable of reaching, bending, balancing and transporting objects weighing up to 30 lbs
- Proven sales building competency

Job Qualifications

- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations

Job Duties
- Ensures operational excellence of his/her designated restaurant
- Takes ownership of guest relations and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Implements, cascades, and sustains company initiatives and goals
- Increases sales and operating profit and sets short/long term plans to meet goals through marketing and internal opportunities
- Certified in Pei Wei Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations and performs duties daily
- Fosters a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- Supervises, assigns, and delegates tasks appropriately to management and hourly team members
- Recruits, hires, and trains team according to internal training specifications
- Provides ongoing leadership and development to management staff including P/L accountability, food and labor costs, safety and sanitation
- Acts as a goodwill ambassador to the community
- Uses performance management tools to ensure completion of employee appraisals with coaching and feedback
- Ensures compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation guidelines
- Oversees regular repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
- Handles administrative tasks including hiring, terminating, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling
- Performs line checks to maintain product quality standards
- Completes prep lists and order guides
- Manages cost and food inventories
- Obtains and maintains safe food handlers permit
