Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2 years management experience for external candidates
- 1 year Pei Wei Manager experience or 6 months Pei Wei Manager experience and 1 year previous restaurant management experience for internal candidates
- ability to handle guest service issues professionally
- ability to foster a respectful and quality workplace
- knowledge of P&L and business growth strategies
- familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to oversee food production and quality standards
- skilled in supervising and training staff
- ability to complete inventories and manage food costs
- skills in staff scheduling and labor management
- good physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- strong decision making and adaptive learning competencies
- ability to coach and develop team members
- proficiency in placing supply orders
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Handle guest service issues professionally and with composure
- foster a safe, respectful, and quality employee experience
- partner with the General Manager to identify and address opportunities to increase business results using the P&L
- ensure compliance with state safety and sanitation guidelines
- consistently ensure proper timing and production of all food orders
- supervise and facilitate training of food preparation and execution of all menu items, procedures, and recipes
- maintain all product quality standards by performing regular line checks
- complete all prep lists, order guides, and cost and food inventories
- support business goals including food costs, labor, and team member retention
- supervise, assign, and delegate tasks and give direction to all staff and other management members
- assist the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training
- act as a goodwill ambassador to the Pei Wei community
- oversee regular repairs and maintenance of the restaurant
- assist the General Manager in developing other managers and shift leaders
- manage placing all restaurant orders including Coke, DSI, Ed, etc.
- partner with the General Manager to forecast sales and develop staff schedules
