Job Requirements

  • 2 years management experience for external candidates
  • 1 year Pei Wei Manager experience or 6 months Pei Wei Manager experience with 1 year previous restaurant management experience for internal candidates
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to reach, bend, balance and transport objects up to 30 lbs during a shift
  • capability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift
  • applies data from multiple sources to support fact-based decisions
  • makes timely decisions balancing urgency with long-term execution
  • enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and quickly grasps new concepts
  • completes FOH and BOH certification
  • observes and coaches team members consistently

Job Qualifications

  • Management experience in the restaurant industry
  • experience training and developing team members
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • proficiency in inventory and order management systems
  • ability to analyze P&L and staffing needs
  • high school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • Handles guest service issues professionally and with composure
  • fosters a safe, respectful and quality employee experience
  • partners with the GM to identify and address opportunities to increase business results using the P&L
  • accountable for following and executing all state safety and sanitation guidelines
  • consistently ensures proper timing and production of all food orders
  • supervises and facilitates training of food preparation and execution of all menu items, procedures, and recipes
  • is responsible for maintaining all product quality standards by performing regular line checks
