Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • prior front desk, concierge, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • flexible work schedule including weekdays and weekends
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • strong attention to detail
  • knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

  • prior healthcare experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone
  • answers patient and family questions accurately or seeks clarification
  • accesses empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations
  • supports patient care quality initiatives
  • coordinates escalations and urgent issues timely
  • collaborates with site leadership to manage complex patient issues
  • employs core values to assist navigation of PM systems
  • monitors and manages patient flow including self-registration assistance
  • keeps current on workflows, responsibilities, and technology
  • registers patients and maintains accurate patient accounts with HIPAA compliance
  • manages incoming patient documents and correspondence
  • maintains confidentiality and privacy of patient accounts
  • performs opening and closing duties including organizing, stocking, sanitizing, and reconciling
  • executes other assigned duties
