Job Requirements

- Prior experience in healthcare, customer service, or hospitality preferred

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior front desk, concierge, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Experience in a healthcare environment and knowledge of medical insurance preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules and occasional travel
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone
- Answers patient and family questions, seeking clarification when needed
- Assesses empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations
- Supports patient care quality initiatives as directed
- Coordinates escalations and urgent issues for timely resolutions
- Collaborates with site leadership on complex patient issues
- Employs core values to assist patients and families navigating PM systems
- Monitors and manages patient flow including self-registration assistance
- Keeps current on workflows, responsibilities, and technology
- Registers patients and maintains accurate patient accounts with HIPAA compliance
- Manages incoming patient documents and correspondence
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
- Performs opening and closing duties including organizing, stocking, sanitizing, and reconciling
- Executes other duties as assigned
