Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience with payroll and accounts payable functions
- ability to perform a volume of numerical detailed work with high degree of accuracy
- proficient to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- judgment and initiative in setting priorities to meet deadlines and resolve discrepancies
- high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- ability to communicate fluently in English
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- proficient to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- experience with OnBase, Infinium, Concur, PMI preferred
- proficiency in UltiPro and either Kronos or Crew Trac preferred

Job Duties
- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment
- applies standard concepts, practices and procedures within payroll and accounts payable functions, adapting to changes and applying exceptions when authorized
- recommends changes to departmental procedures and processes for internal control and efficiency
- evaluates impact of changes to company business activities and applies applicable rules
- ensures timely and authorized payment of employees' paychecks in compliance with company policies
- processes payroll for specific collective bargaining units and supports others
- ensures payroll compliance with collective bargaining agreements
- calculates, verifies, inputs and posts payroll data
- verifies gross pay, net pay, taxable wages and non-worked pay
- manages time accrual records for sick and vacation time
- handles payroll adjustments such as shortages, discrepancies, garnishments
- assists in training and developing new staff
- prepares payroll-related reports and maintains payroll files
- verifies and ensures timely payment of invoices and payment requests
- codes invoices and maintains expense tracking spreadsheets
- inputs and validates documents in imaging and workflow systems
- collaborates to optimize payment schedules and avoid penalties
- processes and audits expense reports
- analyzes vendor account reconciliations and resolves issues
- partners with vendors and departments on accounts payable matters
- trains departments on invoice and expense report coding and approval procedures
- gathers and reports statistical information monthly relating to landings, passengers, freight and mail
