- ability to perform arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, and percentages

- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly
- vision capable of seeing from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- adherence to company personal hygiene and dress standards

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- assist customers by noting and passing along suggestions or requests as well as performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- operate cash register accurately, scan products, and report improper cash levels
- redeem promotional coupons, receive cash, checks, complete credit-card transactions, calculate discounts, count back change and issue receipts
- place merchandise in bags or boxes and give packages to customers
- ensure adequate supplies of silverware, condiments, and beverage cups for customer use
- refill and maintain coffee service area supplies
- understand and practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean work area
- maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
- adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines
- report to work as scheduled and on time
- assist with bussing tables in sit-down areas
- run orders to sit-down areas from food stations
- assist in other areas of the store as needed
- perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
