Job Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds constantly
Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Ability to see with or without correction including depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
Ability to make change and perform arithmetic calculations

Job Duties

Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner throughout the store
Learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
Assist customers by noting and passing along suggestions or requests and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
Answer telephones promptly and provide friendly, helpful service
Work as a team with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
Operate cash register accurately, scan products, redeem promotional coupons, process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, and complete discounts, count back change and issue receipts
Place merchandise in bags or boxes and give packages to customers
Ensure adequate supply of silverware, condiments, and beverage cups for customer use
Refill and maintain coffee service area supplies
Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep work area clean and neat
Adhere to company guidelines related to personal hygiene, dress, and policies
Report to work on time as scheduled
