Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of transportation functions and regulations
- Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and classification
- Ability to perform security checks and maintain facility integrity
- Effective communication skills
- Capability to operate materials handling equipment
- Willingness to work overtime and travel on Temporary Duty assignments
- Ability to comply with safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school or GED diploma
- Basic knowledge of transportation functions, programs, regulations, and guides
- Familiarity with hazardous materials classification and handling
- Ability to distinguish colors for hazardous materials placards
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations and procedures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to operate materials handling equipment and motor vehicles
- Prior experience in air transportation or military deployment support is a plus
Job Duties
- Oversee operation of passenger shelters and associated training aids
- Coordinate processing and loading of personnel and cargo according to deployment plans and aircraft schedules
- Perform passenger service dispatch duties and maintain aircraft status boards
- Receive air mission set-ups and relay information on passenger processing and movements to operations and shift leaders
- Assist deploying unit with air passenger manifesting and ensure legible, accurate air manifests
- Provide passengers with flight information and updates on delays
- Ensure physical security of passengers and coordinate security briefings and inspections
