Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in event support customer service or a related field preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as events require
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Must be dependable punctual and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and exercise good judgment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist with onsite event support including setup and breakdown of tables chairs and event spaces in accordance with event layouts and direction provided by the Event Manager
- Oversee facility operations during events to ensure proper use of the pavilion and surrounding areas
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with Town of Fairfield Parks & Recreation rules pavilion policies and rental agreement requirements
- Collaborate with others regarding Pavilion programs activities events curriculum and tours
- Assist with general operation and maintenance of the Pavilion and grounds to ensure a safe and secure place
- Deliver on-site customer service by greeting clients responding to questions addressing concerns of Pavilion patrons and providing tours brochures and information to all potential clients
- Assist with managing inventory ordering supplies and maintaining inventory control levels
- Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by Event Manager
- Liaison with catering decorators event vendors and facilities maintenance staff
- Evaluate conditions for safety and initiate emergency action plan as required
- Provide written reports of accidents or incidents in a timely manner
- Perform all related tasks as required or directed
