Job Requirements
- ability to stand for long periods, navigate large venues, and lift up to 50 lbs
- regular bending, stooping, crouching, and equipment setup required
- ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments depending on event needs
- ability to work in environments with varying noise levels from minimal to loud
- reliability and punctuality for a flexible schedule, especially nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- experience in event operations, volunteer coordination, or theater/arts settings
- college degree or current enrollment in a relevant field preferred
- knowledge of theatre production or performing arts industry is a plus
- strong communication skills and a calm, problem-solving attitude
- ability to coordinate effectively with volunteers and internal stakeholders
- a courteous, customer-first approach even under pressure
- comfort with basic technology and willingness to learn event-specific systems
Job Duties
- act as a primary liaison during events for patrons, clients, and internal departments
- communicate event requirements to staff and volunteers across the City Springs campus
- assist with volunteer coordination and event operations as assigned
- troubleshoot technology issues such as ticket scanning or patron entry
- serve as floor captain during events, ensuring smooth patron flow and adherence to policies
- track and log patron-related incidents, emergencies, or lost items
- deliver a high level of customer service at all times
