Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be attained within two weeks of employment
- Ability to learn to use wheelchairs, gurneys, electric beds, cell phones, and digital pagers
- Effective human relations skills
- Ability to retain composure under stress and work quickly to meet patient care needs
- Time management skills
- Prior related work experience in a medical environment preferred
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids requiring use of universal precautions
- Physical ability to stoop, bend, squat, crouch, crawl, kneel, stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and carry weights up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to emergencies
Job Qualifications
