Job Requirements
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of patient transport experience preferred
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- Ability to work part-time on weekends and between 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Ability to assist with patient transfer and lifting
Job Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- Preferably 6 months of patient transport experience
Job Duties
- Transport patients, paperwork and patient belongings from assigned areas
- Transfer and lift assistance
- Assist patients with dressing appropriately for procedures
- Follow proper protocol for use and organization of supplies, equipment and supply room
- Responsible for cleaning, locating, and maintaining transport equipment
- Assist patients and visitors by providing information and directions
- Assist with transporting patient care equipment as necessary
