Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED)
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, reach, and squat as needed
- Willingness to work full-time and regular shifts
- Basic familiarity with hospital environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified in BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED)
- Two years of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to use Epic software or willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical capability to perform duties including lifting, pushing, and prolonged standing
Job Duties
- Transport patients and equipment safely between departments
- Perform various patient-related activities as assigned
- Utilize proper body mechanics during transport
- Maintain PAR levels for equipment across the Medical Center
- Work collaboratively with coworkers in and beyond the Patient Transportation Department
- Use Epic software to track patient locations during travel
- Use Epic software to track equipment movement throughout the facility
