Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association
- one year of recent documented patient transporter experience within the past five years
- recent documented patient transporter experience in acute care or hospital setting
- availability to work all shifts including graveyard, seven days a week
- physical stamina to perform sustained labor including lifting over 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to communicate effectively in-person and over radio
- knowledge of hospital safety practices and infection control
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Transport patients to and from various locations within the hospital
- run errands within hospital premises
- change oxygen tanks as needed
- apply CPR when necessary
- communicate effectively with staff and patients
- use equipment such as radios, gurneys, carts, and wheelchairs efficiently
- follow hospital safety and infection control procedures
