Job Duties
- Transport patients and patient-related materials throughout the hospital campus
- Transport patients via wheelchair, bed, or stretcher to and from clinical and ancillary departments
- Assist clinical personnel with transferring patients to or from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and stretchers
- Support department areas as directed by the dispatcher
- Collect and sign off specimens, cultures, orders, and requisitions
- Deliver audiovisual equipment to appropriate destinations
- Maintain department policies related to quality assurance, safety, environmental protocols, and infection control
- Clean and store equipment upon job completion
- Perform other related duties as required
