Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of training in assigned competencies such as oxygen equipment use
- Ability to follow oxygen transport policies including oxygen tank monitoring
- Capability to work standing and walking extensively
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs with proper stooping and bending
- Physical ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions daily
- Ability to perform safe patient lifting techniques
- No prior experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Completion of training in patient oxygen equipment and monitoring
- Knowledge of patient lifting and transfer techniques
- Understanding of infection control policies
- Ability to follow oxygen transport procedures
- Physical capability for frequent standing and walking
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists
- Completion of basic patient lifting in-service training
Job Duties
- Transport patients to and from point of service including admissions and discharges
- Perform patient and equipment handling duties
- Monitor patient oxygen equipment levels and amounts
- Follow oxygen transport policies and procedures
- Lift up to 50 lbs safely using proper technique
- Adhere to infection control policies
- Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
