Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform patient observation duties
  • Willingness to work evening shifts
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff
  • Capacity to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to respond promptly to patient needs
  • Compliance with hospital safety and health guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
  • Basic understanding of patient safety and care protocols
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Previous experience in healthcare or patient care preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide close and continuous observation of assigned patients
  • Assist with activities of daily living within the scope of the role
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Communicate regularly with nursing staff about patient status and behavior
  • Follow RN's delegation regarding patient care needs and special instructions
  • Monitor patients for signs of distress or changes in condition
  • Document observations accurately and timely
