- minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum management experience - two years
- minimum functional experience - two years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts

- understanding of the unique pace of a busy hospital
- ability to implement process improvements and lead safety/HACCP training
Job Duties
- manage a dedicated team of 35 plus union employees
- oversee patient food production, the diet office, and a cook-chill delivery system
- conduct daily meal rounding and analyze satisfaction data to drive Gold Check standards
- act as the key liaison between nursing, dietitians, and culinary to ensure safety and excellence
