Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Five years previous management experience in large-scale, high-volume food service operation required
  • Preferred BS in food services or hospitality
  • Preferred Baltimore City Food Services Manager Certificate
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and schedules
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five years previous management experience in large-scale, high-volume food service operation
  • Preferred BS in food services or hospitality
  • Preferred Baltimore City Food Services Manager Certificate
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct and supervise kitchen service activities and delivery of food to patient floors
  • Ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
  • Work with and through lead workers to maintain efficient workflow
  • Coordinate the scheduling, loading, delivery and pickup of food carts
  • Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards
  • Direct and assist with care and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Enhance professional growth through in-service and educational programs
