Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong culinary background with up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong management skills with experience in high-volume facilities
  • experience in high-end catering and dining
  • passion for culinary arts
  • strong production culinary background preferably in upscale restaurant, retail, or catering
  • proven ability to lead and engage culinary teams with exceptional supervisory and human resource skills

Job Duties

  • Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • monitor FMS including audits and standardization for new menus
  • be responsible for food and physical safety and annual training for all hourly associates
  • improve and standardize catering and banquet services and create menus based on client needs
  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services
  • create interpersonal relationships with clients in hospital
