Job Requirements
- Ability to sit stand walk and communicate effectively
- manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- requires corrected vision and hearing
- must be present during regular business hours
- exposure to medical environments including communicable diseases and radiation
- in-person interaction with patients staff and management
- occasional travel to other office sites may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- prior receptionist or office experience preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
- must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of hire
- strong adaptability commitment to quality and customer service focus
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors professionally and promptly
- register patients verify insurance and collect co-pays
- schedule appointments and provide clear instructions and details
- answer and direct incoming calls
- relay messages accurately
- maintain patient records and update demographic information
- support administrative tasks including filing and supply management
- ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold confidentiality standards
- maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- assist with other duties as assigned
