Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to handle difficult/upset patients with patience
Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced environment

1+ years customer service experience (healthcare preferred)
Excellent communication skills (phone and in-person)
Ability to handle difficult/upset patients with patience
Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced environment
Medical terminology knowledge
Understanding of insurance types (HMO, PPO, etc.)
Windows/PC proficiency
Ability to recognize priority/emergency calls
Data entry experience

Job Duties

Greet patients with enthusiasm and professionalism
Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
Check patients in and out efficiently
Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage
Register patients in computer systems
Enter physician charges and billing information
Handle hospital/nursing home charge billing
Balance daily finances and verify orders
Manage follow-up appointment scheduling
Maintain positive patient interactions at all times
