Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients, completing reminder calls, entering pre-visit orders, identifying required paperwork, reviewing patient accounts, collect on account balances and membership fees
  • Check-in patients on arrival, verify identity using double identifiers, update all demographics in Maestro, make necessary edits, present required forms, complete check-in fields, clear Maestro alerts, check-out patients and schedule return appointments
  • Open daily cash management batch for collecting payments and close batches adhering to cash management policies
  • Review work files and queues in Maestro to make adjustments and clear patient account issues
  • Manage Signature Care referral work queues ensuring all addressed within 24 hours
  • Explain billing to patients according to PRMO credit and collection policies, handle internal billing for concierge fees
  • Answer telephone calls live, assist patients with requests, cancellations, reschedules, initiate messages to providers or nurses, retrieve and return unanswered calls same day, enter phone encounters in Maestro
  • Maintain fax logs and scan documents into EPIC
  • Bill schedules for provider templates
  • Handle special provider requests and projects
