The Clinical Patient Safety Manager role is a pivotal position within an acute care hospital setting located in Los Angeles, CA. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field
  • Within 30 days of hire obtain California Fire and Life Safety Card
  • Minimum five years of experience in acute care hospital setting
  • Certification as CPPS preferred but not mandatory upon hire
  • Two years of patient safety experience
  • Ability to influence hospital leadership
  • Experience conducting safety training

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field
  • Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred
  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred
  • Experience in patient safety within acute care hospital setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Overseeing and implementing patient safety systems and processes
  • Monitoring and analyzing patient safety data
  • Developing and implementing improvement initiatives to prevent errors and accidents
  • Conducting safety training for hospital staff
  • Investigating and addressing incidents affecting patient safety
  • Developing education and influencing hospital leadership to improve patient safety
  • Creating and promoting a culture of safety within the hospital
