Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of 1-year receptionist and cashier or related experience
  • minimum of 1-year healthcare experience
  • experience with medical insurance
  • ability to work early morning hours
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • complete the pre-registration process for all new clients
  • schedule appointments accordingly including orientation of new patients
  • monitor all patient activities on center premises
  • provide customer service as a point of contact for patient inquiries
  • collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility at the time of service
  • ensure all necessary demographics billing and clinical information is accurately entered in the registration system
  • maintain strong communication with the program director physicians and nursing staff regarding intakes
  • verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering phones checking and delivering mail maintaining supply inventory
