Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in healthcare or customer service field
- Must demonstrate competency in scheduling and registration
- Must pass all EPIC competencies within 30 days of hire or upon completion of Epic Clerical Training
- Ability to achieve annual competency exams
- Ability to attend quarterly MSO meetings
- Ability to attend staff meetings and employee forums
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in healthcare or customer service field
- Significant customer service experience in scheduling and registration
- Competency in scheduling and registration
- Ability to pass EPIC competencies within 30 days or upon completion of Epic Clerical Training
- General knowledge of customer encounter processes, financial guidelines, and billing coordination
Job Duties
- Achieve exceptional patient experience using CARES, AIDET and EPE tools
- Manage conflict and request supervisor assistance when needed
- Perform patient registration process
- Manage accurate collection of patient data including e-signature document guidance
- Investigate insurance eligibility via electronic tools
- Collect patient financial obligations and refer to Financial Advocate if applicable
- Formulate accurate telephone encounter messages and route appropriately
- Instruct patients on Release of Information process and ensure proper documentation
- Communicate effectively and document according to workflows
